yammy
I'm looking at purchasing one of these for an imminent FAC application for air rifle storage only and was wondering whether anyone had one or had any experience of them? Thanks
johnlewis
Well made bit of kit look out for 2nd hand as it will save you some money (most FAC holders end up getting larger cabinet as they collect more rifles to play with)
welshwarrior
Good cabinets but buy the bigger rl7 or you'll end up upgrading.
phaedra1106
If you're putting scopes on go for the extra deep versions, and as said above buy larger than you think you need. Cabinet capacity is quoted based on O/U shotguns, when you start adding a few rifles with scopes and bipods you soon run out of room! The RD brattons allow for scoped rifles they just change the dividers RD7 is the same box as ST9+ that holds 9+ shotguns for example
yammy
Thanks for the replies boys. Been trying to drop on a second hand one but not much around. obviously need the space for a scoped rifle and these are a decent depth compared to other models. As said, I have 5 gun Bratton Sound with top lock box, fits 3 shotguns but only one scoped frifle so my other rifle is lay diagonally across front of other guns...I thought 5 was more than enough.....I am now looking at selling mine and going upto 9 gun cabinet for 3 shoties and 3 rifles!!.....
