Plenty of shooters from the north east read this forum, the odd one just can't take part anymore. What's the Tall Trees Gun Club, Game Syndicate or Clay Club? Katzenjammer
mostly indoor 22r mate , also got a 80 yard out door air rifle range ( ref tall trees ) The Tall Trees comes from the time when the club was first set up and shot on ground near the Tall Trees Hotel near Yarm . This place had a nightclub in latter years but the current club location is up near Elwick. The fact that trees bound the end of the range is coincidental to the name - the place is called Wood View because there is a view of the woods. Google Bob Dunkley Firearms. The indoor range is used for LBR in many calibres other than .22 though clearly .22 is most used due to ammo cost etc. In answer to the original question "How many shooters in the NE" I can only find reference on the Cleveland Police Firearms site to the numbers or possible numbers - 17 RFD, 973 FAC, 2558 Shotgun certs. This is Cleveland only of course. Durham and Northumberland will have many more but I cannot find the details. North Yorkshire is technically Yorkshire and Humberside region. I would also imagine there will be quite a few of these have both FAC and SGC so it won't give a true number plus the non licenced airgun shooters. Good research and quite interesting to see what numbers are out there.

Sha Bu Le
Sunderland here, HW100, targets, vermin when I can (especially those damned magpies, rakes around here). Put an appearance in at the new range in Washington now and then. Its only 10M but the crack is good. Bri
