TheEnforcer
Im travelling to the USA and it is obviously cheaper to bring some products back with me. Im not looking to bring back a whole shotgun, but a barrel and some cartridges. All within my license. Does anyone have the route to do this? I have been told to RFD from the USA. I was thinking about just putting it in my pocket .... no ?
The Mighty Prawn
There's a whole world of regs now for taking gun parts from the US so might not be worth the hassle
Vince Green
Its not this end that the problems exist, The Americans have manic laws about exporting all sorts of things to do with guns and ammunition and its a Federal offence which means years in jail if you try to take it on a plane. Don't expect to be let off with a warning either if you are caught. They have absolutely no sense of humour. farmshooter
I think it depends if the items are itar regestered, as i looked at this in florida, if you ask in the shop they are normaly able to check, also may not hurt to find customs when you fly into the usa and ask them what you want to do and see what they say? I didnt bring much back in the end as was to much hassle for a smallish saving FS
