How does the 4x4 system work on that age of X-Trail?

What's the service history like?

What's the annual cost of the road tax?

Cheers

Mine worked of a switch on the dash,

Normally 2 wheel drive, you could put it in Auto which means IT chose 4 wheel drive if it thought the conditions warranted it, also you could lock it into 4 wheel drive,

£250-£260 road tax

Thought it may have been a little less to tax. Never mind.
