Autarky complete food

I tried raw for a bit. I saw no difference in condition although there is a lot less waste to clear up.

I like Millies Wolfheart although it would be quite expensive if you have a lot of dogs.

I use Millies Wolfheart for my Springers and they are doing very well on it. I tried a lot of different brands over the years and Millies give me and the dogs what I want.

I have never felt the need to feed any of my dogs raw. If you can get a good complete dog food, that agrees with the dogs, personally I don't feel there is any need of raw.

I have both mine on skinners, some people hate it, mine love it and I always get comments on how good they are looking and the condition of their coats etc. Loads of energy, nice stools, not cheap, but also not insane prices.

I use the salmon and rice field and trial versions.

If it's any help I feed my 2 gsd's raw food. My boy has about 2 and a half pounds of meat, offal and bone a day with his veg. (when he eats his bloody veg...) and my pup has between 1 and a half and 2 pounds a day with veg. Coats in brilliant condition on both of them and it really does help with growth/recovery but only if it's worked out properly! It takes me an hour every 2 weeks to weigh everything out and pack it but I find its worth it. About £70 a month but my boy is 48kg...

I moved onto this food about a year ago with my lab. I thought she had flea's as she would not stop scratching! I went to local Pet store on way to work, explained situation and asked for flea treatment. First response was "what are you feeding her?" .... anyway... long story short, It appears all dogs are intolerant to wheat (Cereals) and a side effect is scratching. So... I changed to Autarky as its gluten free. Within 2 weeks she was not scratching. and to think the lady in the shop could have sold me all the flea treatment in the world, I wouldn'y have know better.

I rate the food
