Just weighed my hatsan in for the new Franchi Affinity, what a difference and for £595 with a 7 year warranty, I would spend the xtra, don't get me wrong my Hatsan was a problem free gun, but the Affinity is just sooooo much better, IMO anyway.

yes I've handled the franchi affinity was a much nicer gun better finished than the escort or the armsan and with the 4 years extra warrenty it really is worth the extra pounds. Was so tempted buying one this year but opted for a mp153 as it was a 3.5inch chambered and one came up second hand at the same time I was looking for less than half the money armsan

Arms every time..... two of my local gunsmiths no longer stock the Escort as the build of the Armsan is so much better.

Exactly the same as my local RFD. I have handled both many times and ended up buying the Armsan. No regrets, for £400 it's a no brainer pigeon gun. My RFD says he very rarely ever gets the Armsans back with issues. However, he always had Hatsans back with problems so stopped stocking them.

hello, when i was looking for a semi around £500 i looked at quite a few new and S/H but bearing in mind i always had O/U S/S i did some research and looked at reviews, my thought of a semi against another O/U was most pigeon cartridges now are quite heavy compaired to years ago and now getting an oldy so weight and recoil were main factors as was reliability so bearing all this in mind i chose a armsan phenoma.

Apart from the plastic case and flush fit chokes, is it with an extra £200 for the phenoma over the a612?

hello, not to some shooters but i got mine in camo and for £450, the other thing i forgot to mention when i contacted highland out doors they said they had an early A612 that some of the staff used for pigeons and had shot 1,000s of carts and only cleaned occasionly

Escort has got better and they are reliable generaly if you maintain them and can read instructions, We have a 20 bore the kids gave it hell for the past five years and its still faultess. SPARES FOR THE HATSAN IS GOOD TOO.

The armsan i cant coment as i never have seen one.
