winnie&bezza
Afternoon all, I'm surprised by the lack of football talk on here. I know it's a shooting forum but I thought there would be a bit of chat about it. So isn't football liked much by you members or you all support teams that aren't doing well and rather not talk about it? Like me and Chelsea :-(
felly100
I'm a Blade so it's not really football!
Pistol p
Unless it involves engines and wheels or goes " bang", I have no interest in sport. Sorry.
belly47
too many egg chasers on here spouting the usual "they earn too much money" or "don't they fall over easily" it's easier not to talk football on here from what I've seen as most threads lead onto the above comments Edited December 19, 2015 by belly47
felly100
I love it. The three Sheffield clubs do loads of good work in the community too.
Gordon R
Leeds United fan for longer than most members have been alive. Dire times. I wonder if we will get back in my lifetime. Man U slipping down the table, whilst Chelsea climb. I am sure Chelsea players sleep easy at night, losing the best manager they ever had, or will get in the future. Bunch of Muppets. belly47
Probably theres loads more interesting things to talk about than football. good link Dougy ,www.footballforums.net There you go Off you pop now if you can provide links to current affairs forums, news and every other uninteresting thread that is started on here. that would be grand. also many people on here moan about facebook etc and then use this site in exactly the same way talking about any kind of nonsense. I guess all the while there is an " off topic " we shall just have to select to read what appeals to us as individuals
Whitebridges
Norwich won away at Man U today. It's laughable considering all the big money they've spent.
Danger-Mouse
Never really been a fan of footy, at least not watching it, having a kickabout is fine. I occasionally watch international matches but nothing domestic. I have to confess that the fanaticism shown by fans bemuses me. I can`t see why they get so emotionally involved in a silly game. As a young man I went to ER early seventies when Celtic beat us in the Semi Finals of the EC. I had an uncle from Selby. E.w.
One can't stand to watch a so called man doing the dying fly act after a tap on the ankle or a Stoke of the face, used to be a mans game, I'm glad I love rugby. Zapp
I'm not sure football is as universally popular as the industry would like to make out anymore. I guess its like other hobbies, like minded people group together and so the majority of their circle have an interest. It's not for me. winnie&bezza
Probably theres loads more interesting things to talk about than football. ,www.footballforums.net There you go Off you pop Calm down fella. You need to post a link for ballroom dancing for the strictly thread as surely that's not interesting either. And as belly said this is a SOCIAL media site too and we all waffle on about rubbish. As a Chelsea fan i do think it was right to sack mourinho even though he gave us tue best times we've had. Hes just too stubborn and confrontational to last. As a big game tactician there is no one better but long haul he just hasn't got it. Just shows what dressing room was like by today's result and happy with hiddink. Wish he stayed long term on his first time with us.
Davyo
Footballers, overpaid wimps, & fans are hooligans ,Rugby however a mans game. Was up in Newcastle one week end when the World Cup was on & fans sitting in bars together getting on,If that had been football it would of been a blood bath.
