It'll retain some value, but buying a Defender isn't an investment of any kind. Just wait until that warranty runs out and make sure you get EVERYTHING fixed before it ends. bluesj Posted January 2, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 2, 2016 Ive had 3 defenders still got 1 with 300,000 on the clock (just can't bring my self to sell it). Had a 2a before them plus a discovery or 2 and a hand full of range rovers (classics). I would have a range rover tomorrow if i could find a good one at a good price. none of then have been any more of a problem than any other cars I've had. but saying that I now drive an l200 and the only thing that has needed is springs.
