I have bought a 2012 plate GV and it currently has road tyres on that obviously are'nt too good off road. They are 225/65/R18 tyres. The handbook recommends 225/65 R17 - am I OK to use either size in ATs? Can anyone recommend a suitable AT tyre that they have used in these sizes. Cheers Yes as long as the tyres are on 18 inch rims you can take you 17s off snd put them straight on mate.but like said you cant fit a 18 inch tyre onto a 17 inch rim as it will just fall straight off as its to big by 1 inch. I did on mine (2009 SZ5) and the engine was removed twice, should have been 3 times but the tech lied. Had to move it on for fear of further problems.
