Steel over lead

I won't ever use steel over lead unless going for wildfowl, even then I prefer Tungsten or Bismuth. I certainly wouldn't want to be at a clay ground with people firing steel shot about. Cant Say I would be too keen to be shooting in woodland with people using steel, it ricochets all over the place.

Well lads bring your steel 28 gram loads to Orston Shooting Ground,go round the 100 bird sporting .Then come back and tell me there alright for clays

Have you got shares in Orston shooting ground?

I shot there last year. I don't think that I would have shot any less clays if I was using steel shells.

you would be ok shooting the 50 bird sporting at orston , however i think most wood struggle on the 100 bird registered , some of those long crossers and 60 - 70 yrds loopers and battues are not for the faint hearted
