New toys

Visited wabbitbosher's yesterday to have a look at some English SBSs to buy as a restoration project. Came away with TWO guns, an Arthur B Williams with a nicely yacht varnished stock (😢) and a Midland Gun Company ejector which I left with him for a minor fettle before I start work on it. Felt like a kid in a toy shop when I saw his workshop, spoilt for choice wasn't in it!

Now need a new cabinet, I can envisage further trips to the toy shop.....

Great to meet you Mick, thanks for your time and patience! See you at the Shooting Show next month.

Shot a few clays with the Williams this morning. The good news; it didn't explode, everything that was supposed to go bang did, I hit a few with it. The bad news; brain doesn't yet compute auto safety/ double triggers, the different fit/style completely stuffed up my skeet with the Guerini.

My cabinet is full of bosher bargains, well worth the trip. I too have a resto project from Mick so best of luck with it. I've not started yet but plan to keep it simple

Thanks. Of the two I bought from Mick this is the real cheapy. I'll practise on this one 🤔 and also keep it simple!
