Oddly enough there was piece in 'Countryfile' this week about training courses for gamekeepers. Not only did they show the students learning to use shotguns by shooting clays, they showed one student who was practising target shooting with a rifle because of the need to humanely cull deer. Not even a single nod to the animal rights brigade or to any of the furious campaigners who use their 'charitable' status to condemn others - and not even a sideways PC comment. Was that definitely all of the footage on the subject? I'd expect the slagging after, or at the very least some at the beginning of the show!.....
