Calibre for wild goats and occasional deer?

Goats can be amazingly tough creatures and deserve a clean humane death. I have shot a lot and my rifle was either a 308Win or a 30-06 with a 150gr bullet. That was 25-30yrs ago. Today the calibre would be the same and if you intend using factory then the Nosler Accubond, if reloading then Barnes TTSX, again in the 150 to 165 grain range. Either of these calibres will work for any game other then dangerous. YOU just need to do your part and put it in the right spot.
