Hand held nite site spotter extreme

They may look good, but £945? As I mentioned to you via PM, I'm made my own, which when used with a T20 IR (AS) pil, can 'see' for 250+ yards. It cost me a fraction of the Nite Site.

Not everyone can make their own spotter, but there's plenty of people who will give you advice on how to make one, or could even make one for you.

Steve, is this the one, T20IR Ultra Olson AS. £30.59 from L/L.

I've tried the Nite Site Spotter and it is a great bit of kit, but had two downsides for me: price and size/weight. It's a chunky spotter and has a bit of weight to it. I didn't get on with it when walking around my permissions, but from a stationary position it was great.

But as Steve says: £945...you can get good factory made spotters for less money, and then there's home made for even less.

I had a guy come along to compare one of mine at £240 to his existing £940 one. He bought mine and was going to sell his nite site jobby.

Part of the preference was that the nite site one had to be used below head height because the angle of the screen meant he couldn't hold it high to view over hedges. My screens are vertical - and can be tilted down slightly - or detached from the unit(s)

Hers is a choice of spotters I make, generally keeping one of each ready to post out.
