al4x Posted December 11, 2008 Report Share Posted December 11, 2008 I think you should look at different moderators and the way they feel to find one that suits you.. it makes me laugh when I hear all the comparisions about noise.. when the HMR emits a sonic crack. whatever you do it will sound the same down range. if it was that simple then why put a sound mod on at all I do agree with the crack being most of the noise once you have fitted a mod though and an interesting experiment is were you to fire at the ground a couple of feet away it sounds very similar to a .22lr sound wise.
