Hendrix's rifle Posted April 2, 2016 Report Share Posted April 2, 2016 As the title says I may be looking for a new scope in the next couple of months for a 17hmr. Variable mag with adjustable objective(side preferably) I have been looking at the Hawke sidewinder range and they look good, also the Hawke varmint. Had a look at some Nikko scopes and cant seem to find one that tickles my fancy. The Nikko and Hawke scopes I'm using at the minute I'm happy with, they seem to be robust, don't really loose zero and the Hawke is crystal clear. Got about £300 to spend, any ideas fella's? Alycidon Posted April 2, 2016 Report Share Posted April 2, 2016 17HMR is a fairly short range round, unless you are target shooting with it 10x combined with a decent lens diameter ( 40mm +) should be more than enough.
