Happy to go s/h. Benthejockey Posted April 22, 2016 Report Share Posted April 22, 2016 I've got an old BSA in 243. I had it screw cut and it wears an ASE northwest ultra mod, a bipod and a 4-12x56 Hawke scope. The most accurate is likely the least portable and most expensive The cheapest is likely a shot or rusted out out old dog However if I was buying one I should look for a safe hostage. Lots of 243 win get bought by stalkers who book odd days and only buy say 20 rounds per annum. After 5 yrs renewal comes round they often get sold. keeper96 Posted April 25, 2016 Report Share Posted April 25, 2016 Bergara b14... £600 brand new and shoots like a custom rifle, amazingly smooth action and decent stick for the money. Essentially a Remington 700 the way it should have been done. I also own a tikka t3, a ruger m77 and have access to saki estate rifles. Obviously the Salk is better but then it's almost 3 times the price, however it doesn't shoot any better, tikka is good but no better than my Bergara and cost £400 extra, ruger is just a ruger really haha For what it's worth when ever I open the cabinet for a rifle it's the Bergara that comes out the most.
