HuskyRich
Wont be shooting slugs out of my 590 any time soon so might as well zero the RDS for shot, just wondering if there was an ideal distance or shall i see where the brass bead is zeroed to and set it at that? Might take it on the clays a couple of times but mostly will just be about the farm on pigeons, crows etc. was thinking about 40-50 yards? thoughts? Mutiny
id say ideal range is the range you normally shoot at, so if that's 40 yards set it for that, it's not really as precise as zeroing a riflescope you're just looking to be as close to the centre of the pattern as possible
saddler
Zeroed mine at about 30m but that was primarily for slug. Never noticed a change of impact when birdshot or buckshot was used...
