cheers lads, the post office will do next day delivery even from here ! I was thinking a fairer way would be by the 500 gm, it would likely just be blow with perhaps a few black or silver rag, all good size though, might be putting an add in the "for sale" topic :hmm:

my only problem with posted is if you not there at the time they arrive and they take them back or leave with neighbour and they go out you won't have them, i was looking for someone on east coast ie Suffolk Norfolk area i could collect from

You could also look into frozen peeler crab if you can obtain it from your area.around these parts it's a top sea fishing bait .

strangely dont see that many, but I do see some when winkling in the winter ! one thing I do wonder about is the soft/peeling velvet swimmers we get in creels usually in the spring

last time I went out I got a load of hermit crabs off a lad that was running whelk pots and boy did they do the bizz,it was every drop a cod .

I'd go for it youv'e now't to lose and it will get you out in the fresh air LOL.

Thanks for your concern re the fresh air, your right I am a little peaky just now (we havn't had a gale for a couple of days) have also had some good results with hermit crab, (thornbacks and smoothhound) cheers IG
