Hi, I've just purchased a photon xt for use on my new cz455 and I have it on high mounts to give bolt clearance.

The problem is there is not enough elevation adjustment in the photon to zero at 50 yards I'm about 2 1/2 inches low!.

The gun shop where I purchased said I might have to shim the scope with nylon shims?

Any advice from others would help.

I've put a shim on all mine at the back made out of copper that's on weihrauch HW 60 j's 3 of em

Never had to touch em once set up, shoots bang on the button on the 222, WMR and LR got the 6.2 on the 222 and the MK 1 XT on the other 2

I'm only guessing, probably the rifle ???? as it was on them all and they are all the same make, the MK 1 xt's on the CZ LR and the air rifle didn't need any tweaking at all

Good luck with it, I've found my photons worth every penny for the cost of em, I use the pulsar 850 IR on all of them gives a decent clear picture and range

The shim material I got from fultons at Bisley
