Ian North Wales
So as above, how do I use the shims that came with my gun to adjust the poi as I’m not getting on very well with my new gun? The fit I feel is good as stranded but I’m not connecting with many targets so I’m guessing I need to use the shims to move the poi to where I’m looking? I've not used shims before so any help would be great Thanks

TIGHTCHOKE
A visit to a good coach would sort things out!
johnphilip
What gun, yes they work 'can you find somewhere to use a splatter plate. There should be letters on the shims. Fit the tightest choke, stand 16 Yards from the plate fire gun find center of pattern for every inch you are out then the stock needs moving 1/ 16 of an inch. I had a franchi invinity and even with shims I could not get it right, the gun seemed to fire high so in the end I made my own shim. hope this helps. Yellow Bear
A visit to a good coach would sort things out! You are real handy for one of the best coaches - search Beretta (name) on here - based in North Wales - he will put you right.
Guest cookoff013
A visit to a good coach would sort things out! +1 and pattern plates only give half a story. a good selection of clays after adjustment should help identify too. a good low straight away target too ! Gordon R
If the coach in mind isn't Beretta - think again. Dead straight, can shoot to a mega standard and great coach. Top bloke too.
