Fox Habits

On my perm a litter of fox cubs were raised this year, and i just missed them moving on. Today on return from holiday i noticed a couple of dead crows that had been hung up to deter them damaging barley, had gone found and a smallish laid patch in the wheat next to the barley, not any food value to the carcass as it had been out a while, and in years never had any taken by fox, so i'm thinking a cub playing with it.

So question is at what age do the cubs start to wander and set up on thier own, fend for themselves ?
