Willxx
Anyone any suggestions regarding insurance for shooting while in the US? I'm planning on doing some pistol shooting at a range but notice BASC insurance doesn't cover USA, my own travel insurance states it covers clay shooting or "small bore shooting" under supervision of a qualified instructor and arranged by YOUR tour operator. I've booked at a range with an instructor but we're going on our own ie not through a tour operator so don't know if that wording is important? Lloyd90
Surely the range would have its own insurance ?
rimfire4969
I have shot at a few different ranges in the states, never had my own insurance.
Willxx
Like any insurance I'm not expecting to need it - not sure booking with the range will automatically cover me, I'll look at the booking form, I'll also have my daughter, niece and nephew shooting with me so want to be extra careful
Cranfield
I have shot in the USA and I think that commercial ranges and clay grounds have their version of Public Liability Insurance, which would cover you. Are you looking to insure your own equipment, or just want accident coverage ?
Willxx
just accident cover, I'm not taking anything with me
Livefast123
Shot at a few ranges in the US, never bothered with seperate insurance as the range covers you.
SxS
Check out Gunplan: I got a policy with them specifically to have US cover. Just checked and basic liability policy is £20, + £4 for worldwide cover, all underwritten by one of the big insurers.
