I shared my outing this morning with John - an absolute gentleman who has got me most of the shooting I have today.

I have included every shot (apart from in the dark) including the misses. One very embarrassing one too. We all do it, let's be honest!!

After today, I will leave the ducks for 2 or 3 weeks until the migrants appear. Early season ducks are tender and tasty but the season doesn't really start until the wigeon appear.

Pleasure as always Al,if only every1 on the lough had ur mindset there'd be alot more ducks nextyear, seen another couple of posts on shooting ni of 30 plus bags today

I saw that too. To me it just shows no self - restraint, no thinking past the here-and-now.

Thanks for the comments.

Awesome as ussual AL thanks.

Thanks Tony. BTW - the shooting chair has turned out great. Thanks for the guidance.

Love watching your videos, scenery, stone hide, good shooting and dog work, thanks for posting.

Cheers for that. We hope to build more stone hides but they are time consuming and involve a lot of heavy duty lifting (sand and cement.) At least we don't have to carry water I suppose!

Yes I see your point, not exactly ideal terrain to be carrying all the materials required!
