DT10 trigger

My DT10 only came with one trigger, I believe originally they were supplied with more. With the trigger adjusted as far forwards as possible it's still too close to my hand meaning that the joint of my finger rests on the trigger rather than the pad of the finger (is this clear??). Is there another trigger available which would sit further forward? The trigger on my Guerini adjusts perfectly and is a more comfortable fit.

My DT 10 came with 2 triggers, one was symmetrical similar to my Gureini and one was canted at an angle to match the cast of the gun.

If you have the canted one on then replacing it with the non canted one will make the trigger feel further away from the hand as it brings both sides of the trigger blade equidistant from hand.

If you have the symmetrical one on then changing it to the canted Beretta trigger will make it worse as in my case the right side of the trigger blade was a lot closer to the hand than the left so the trigger needed to be further forward to feel comfortable.

Only one style on the Beretta e store, sounds like you need the grip easing back a touch, have just finished an MXS Perazzi that was a new stock, but with the same problem.

Thanks Andy but I'm loathe to make any permanent adjustments to the gun yet as I've not decided whether it's a keeper.

Only take a morning to ease it back if you want.

I have the symmetrical trigger on mine, I'll do some research and see if I can pick up a left handed trigger which might improve things. Edited by Glenlivet

The trigger was in the blue spare parts box that came originally with the gun when bought new.

http://sportingtargets.co.uk/beretta_spares_box/

It contained a couple of beads, 2 replacement firing pins, screwdriver for trigger adjustment, Alan key for memory stock adjustment and spare canted trigger.

The individual part numbers are listed below, the canted ones are still available from brownells U.K.. I know a few DT 10 owners and they all have the spares box, mine was sold with the canted trigger fitted and the straight one in the box.

Thanks Timps.

I was really interested until I saw the price - £61 for a trigger!!! I think I'll break the gun into its component parts, it must be worth over ten grand in bits!

I know, I saw the price and though I should have kept the spares box when I sold mine I would be rich, god knows what the screwdriver alone was worth. :-)

I was just about to offer you a small fortune for the screwdriver but hey ho ;)

As an aside, my bro in law bought a used Browning from a local ground,

Guy who put it in found out it was my bro in law that had bought his gun,

Sent him a letter explaining how expensive his shooting had become and would my bro in law like to buy the spares box that should have come with the gun which he had kept as it would help towards his costs!!!!

The letter was ignored

You're in luck I sold my 682 gold E to canthitathing and that also had a small blue very expensively branded screwdriver, I am sure you can procure it from him with something shinny, a ball of string and a CD of some gay 80's pop icon...:)

Ah but didn't that go to Siberian Tiger?

Don't fancy my chances of getting branded goods off her
