Pykie Posted October 24, 2016 Report Share Posted October 24, 2016 I had a quick hour after work before dark to cull a few Greys on an area of our pheasant shoot which has planted new trees. I had shot a couple with my 28 bore and spotted another dart for cover behind a tree trunk. I stood in a bit of cover and lip squeaked, trying to make it show interest and give me a chance of a shot. I squeaked four or five times and the leaves started to move. Gotcha! As I was about to raise my gun, I caught sight of another movement and on the track sat a Fox, looking at me squeaking away. Up came the 28 bore, down went the Fox. Unfortunately the Squirrel disappeared into the ivy. But always surprising what a squeak will bring.
