YUKON PHOTONs faults and diagnosis MK 1s and the new XTs

Recommended Posts

hello, since i became aware that YUKON were about to release on to the market a new digital night vision scope sub £400 and having used an older tubed n/v by YUKON and a very poor ATN which broke after a few hours, in fact so many people wanted one most RFDs had a waiting list, well that was around 3 years ago and those early units will be past or near warranty expire so i thought if those on PW have had any problems with one it might help if you can put how you fixed although if you had one like me that just blanked out screen can these be sorted ? although it was replaceed, so here is a problem i had with AA batteries, the battery box springs and lid tabs, over time the springs compressed and required to be gently pulled back with a tiny pair of long nose pliers, the lid tabs required a bit of emery to take shine off this will give better battery contact, but i do use a battery pack, another fault on the new XT was reticule alignment, if you have had a replacement it will not mean according to thomas jack warranty starts again, now having 2 MK1s and wanting a few more years use how many PW members think like wise, cheers
