lord_seagrave
Lady Seagrave has got a blender thing called a NutriBullet that makes smoothies. It's pretty industrial, and makes short work of ice and frozen fruit. I work from home most days, and so I have gotten into the habit of cooking far too many vegetables of an evening, saving the leftovers, and turning them into soup the next day. So you wil need: A soup bowl full of leftover veg (including any roasties - this work a treat) A sachet of instant Miso soup. Method: Well (and I can't believe you haven't worked this out already) you: 1. microwave the veg, 2. make up the miso soup in a cup, 3. lob the lot in the blender and blast til smooth HEY PRESTO - nearly instant lunch LS PS: works best with unsalted veg, as the miso is pretty salty already. Fatcatsplat
Got into this while feeding a sick relative, but do the same with a leftover full roast dinner - It's ridiculously good!!
figgy
Full roast dinner soup sounds like something fat people do to still eat foods they're not supposed to after having their jaws wired to lose weight. Wife had me buy her a soup maker and its brilliant as you put the stuff in choose the finish and leave alone till done.
Tad-blody
Sound's great. I do something similar by frying about 100g of chopped chorizo and an onion, when the onion's soft add leftover Mash and loosen to the soupy consistency I like with whatever stock I have to hand. It's far to good to be from leftovers.
