panoma1
It's difficult because some expensive wine is carp and some budget wine is very good!, also individuals tastes differ! I would buy a selection from a supermarket offering a discount if you purchase 6 bottles!
Rupert
Find something low volume, niche so it has a back story, i use this place as i used to live very close when i was of school age, www.highlandwineries.co.uk/ Its a gesture not a sponsered p**s up. Walker570
Not an easy decision by any means. There are so many variables, but I think if you went to a good wine store you could find half a dozen 'unusual' white wines, they may not have tasted. That way they will appreciate you have taken time to find something different to the every day Jacobs Creek ..which is what I prefer, by the way .... even if the wine is not perfect to their taste. There are so many variables with any wines.

acsimmo
You could always buy a decent bottle of however much then print a label. Label could consist of various things like what you have seen rather than what you have shot. A thank you on the label to him and his wife. Make it personal.
