hiya gents,

most of you know that my good lady makes suede collectors bears , well she was asked recently by a friend to make a couple of memory bears for her kids , after the sad passing of her grandad . they were made from her grandads cardigans , and i think that theyre a very nice keep sake .

Brilliant. As soon as I saw it, it threw my memory back to when I was a kid and I had a knitted bear that was with me everywhere. It was called Aggy. I dont know why but Aggy and I were inseparable until one night I threw up all over it and Aggy had to go on holiday. well that's what I was told. A friend lost. the face on your bear looks exactly the same as I remember mine did.

This.

Very good idea. Lady Seagrave couldn't bear to get rid of Little Lord Seagrave's first baby-grows, so when he grew out of them, she turned them into soft toys.

LS

i think thats a really nice idea.

her good self has used baby clothes in memory blankets before , theyre very nice for any age.

  • 2 weeks later...

This idea was on Dragons Den tonight!

Edit:The Dragons liked it and they got £50k for 10% of the company. (what they asked for)

now thats a lot of money  .

quite a few companies already do this type of thing , iirc, cot blankets start at £130 ish , and the memory bears start at £200 ish .

lin didnt charge for making them , they were just made to help people feel a little better.
