Scully
You should be issued with one automatically, all other criteria having been met of course.

steve_b_wales
As Scully said. You will now be given one automatically, should the police not deal with your application in time. In the past, you had to apply for one, and the police were very reluctant to issue one.

I didn't, I had a 'moment' with my FEO when he told me 'it's to their discrepancy' if they issue one, bearing mind my renewal was in 12 weeks before hand. His excuse doesn't cut the mustard. The organisations don't help, prescribed, informed complaints to the right people do,

I complained to the unit manager in the end as I needed to take the firearm abroad , my ticket was delivered to me by the feo 2 days later , 19 weeks after I sent it in for renewal

It is refreshing to read the above. This is where the org should be fully active and give the offending department and FeO a right good ragging about. But if they do I've yet to hear or see any evidence of it.

Lloyd90
But, is Digweed enough of a heavyweight to consult with government? Some good the consultation does! As said above, make official complaints to the right people. Be helpful for those who have done so to put up what they said and to whom so others can follow. BrowningB525
Does their consultation actually achieve amy thing except in their own magazine? The government's stance on driven grouse shooting was pretty much a word for word copy of the BASC statement. What do CPSA do for shooters? **** all
