hiya guys,

her good self was asked by a customer to make a cartridge pouch , so while she was at it , she made a pair.

this is one of them.

its made from very nice quality green leather , its very very strong and very very well made , with leather piping , and leather bound edges , it also has three drainage eyelets , and will comfortably hold 100 cartridges.

it will fit onto a belt up to 2.5 inches wide(not supplied).

£50.00 with free postage.

Are you sure it holds 100 cartridges? it doesnt look wide enough or deep enough. Not a critism just a question, i need two that will hold 100 each.

hiya rich ,

if you check out the pics in the ad , the pouch is actually carrying 100 cartridges , its very spacious and could probably hold 125 cartridges if required.

this is a couple of pics of the pouch holding 75 cartridges.

A 25 would be good for a round of skeet or down the line .and not to heavey to have around your waste .

weve just had a quick brainstorming session , shell make a few 25 cartridge pouches over the next few days , theyll be £30.00.

That would pull your trousers down!

Mel, can the leather wonder worker make them to take a single box of 25 shells, so that the box would support the shells?

hiya dave ,

i hope youre well mate.

most folks would(probably)have them on a separate belt to avoid any embarrassment .

as above , shell make a couple of 25 cartridge pouches , but they wont be square like a box , theyll be the same style as the original pouches so that reaching in to grab carts will be easy.

heres a few pics so that you guys can see that the pouches are more than big enough to hold 100 cartridges.

I have used a pouch for a good few years.

Anything over 75 cartridges and you will start to walk funny - this is not a joke but a day out and your hips will notice the weight (3kg) after a couple of hours. I have a holder for a single box (of 25) on the other side to balance things out. Before you suggest I am a lightweight its still 5 a side football for me twice a week.

Having said this it's better to be too big than small - you don't want to fill it as the ******* fall out.

25 is not enough. Ok for DLT & Skeet if you hit everthing but if it holds 40 good its also for Fitasc etc. Also it needs to be wide to allow access without looking. If cartridges are still in the box is hard to find them without distraction and I rarely pick from the single box holder I have - its there when I'm out for a 50 birds sporting and miss a few.

To me the ideal size is two boxes (50) without the risk of losing them so about 60 in total if full.

Finally - there are bins for the empties. You don't want to walk around with those unless you're field shooting.

happy to sign up for one as is, or slightly smaller.

A.
