Defender22.250
I have a CZ 455 Varmint .17hmr and understand that I can get a .22lr interchangeable barrel for this model. ( I have a slot for a .22lr on my certificate). I have spoken with my gun shop who say the interchangeable barrel kit will be around £180. I have seen some vids on line showing how to swap barrels and it looks fairly straight forward. So I have to decide on whether to buy the barrel kit for £180 or a new .22lr rifle for around £600-£700. My question is has anyone bought the interchangeable barrel kit and how effective/ easy to change and any problems encountered. Thanks
bicykillgaz
I'd get a complete rifle set up, couldn't be bothered rezeroing every time I swapped barrels. Get a second rifle and take one or the other or both out when needed, far less hassle.

7daysinaweek
After seeing me mate have to re zero every time he changes his sako quad barrell, i decided to keep to two dedicated calibres as said above. I can just grab and go if needed. atb 7diaw
m3vert
I don't see any advantage other than saving a few quid. Re Zero every swap would make it pointless for me. As said you will pick up a CZ455 in .22rf for about 225 quid, plus a Hawke scope and your good to go for about 350quid all in not the 600-700 you think. ;-) I just picked one up in .22rf for that price and love it. Andy RV
Get another rifle, plenty of used 22's out there which don't need to cost hundreds.
