I wouldn't bother with a 7ah battery for a magnet. It will probably last 4 hours at a push.

I now go for 22 ah batteries. They will cope with an all day session.

I'd back this up I've got a 7ah alarm battery and I'm lucky to get 3hrs off it,

I've found if you breast the pigeons you get a bit longer

I used my flapper battery 7ah on my magnet yesterday and I only got about 2hrs, It is a homemade magnet windscreen wiper motor, luckily I had my 17ah fully charged in the pickup so I had a back up.

my 7a hr battery will last all day with the new lightweight magnet from a1,,,with my old magnet with wiper motor power about 4 hours.

Hi Hawkfanz. Is this with dead birds on, or artificials? Thinking about a new lightweight magnet but always use dead birds, so don't want a magnet not up to the job, or a battery that won't do 5 hours. Cheers.
