lopylui
Iv got a bsa meteor mk.5 sat doing nothing. Now the question is do I put some time into fixing it up? It needs a rear sight, the stock is chipped near the cocking leaver, ther is a split on the end of the cocking mechanism where the stud goes through under the breach and the barrel has a serious case of the wobbles. ditchman
you can get spares for the mk 5...no probs .......to determin wether the gun is re-builable is the barrel wobbel......if the body is worn...then it is time to let it go......more likley the hinge pin needs relacing and can be done easily............. if you do want to re-build it...post it up with pics.........we will all be interested to see what goes on...and there will be plenty of help as well im still looking for a BSA Mercury model "S"...........when i find one at a decent price i will do a re-build on here........ so go for it...
