Recommended Posts

An absolute must! You will NEVER shoot a pigeon if you do not use one of these.

You have been warned!

Sorry, never heard of one being used..

I knew i was missing something all these years.

Seriously though if PC has used one to good effect Im keen to know what his experiance has been.

Wokky, i searched Crow caller on here and came across this thread:

http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/335817-primos-power-crow-call/?hl=%2Bcrow+%2Bcaller

I've ordered the Primos one based on various replies so i will let you know :)

The Primos caller is, in my opinion, the best caller on the market. It does everything, and more, than the Sam Neyt one, which costs a lot more.

The secret with this caller is to practice until you get it right. So many people have rubbished the caller because they can't get the sound/s right. I have used mine to call in Crows, Jackdaws, Rooks and even Seagulls( just to prove I could do it)

R6 the primos crow caller looks good. Im tempted to give the pigeon caller a go. these things are not too expensive and if it doesnt work im sure the kids would have plenty of fun with it ☺

i completely missed that it was a pigeon caller, I've never heard of one of those!!!

In all seriousness, I have mouth called, a la Percy Edwards, the occasional woody during spring/early summer in woods. They came on in that wonderful bouncy display flight.

The rhythm is 'Bet' ty, my toe's bleed 'ing' with some spittle in you mouth to give a bit of rasp.

I remember watching a TV show as a kid with ol' Percy on it where he gave that exact description and call.

Is that purely for Essex pigeons Penelope , or would a Norfolk accent work as well , perhaps one of our counties top Pigeon boys ( Motty ) would tell if he has any bleed " ing " words that he use to call them in

Penelope, I think that a link to a YouTube video of you demonstrating this would be awesome!
