Just wandering if anyone has used the above? I rang them yesterday looking at a 4-16x50 30mm tube with target turrets, side Parallax and first focal plane for a small sum of £135. He said if something goes wrong with it it will be replaced without any issues and he gets a lot of people buying them. He also said they track superbly and that's what I'm after, anyone know much about them or could second what he said? Thanks

I've not used one myself, but a friend of mine had one on his air rifle before he sold it. I remember him saying that it was good quality and worth the money. I think there was a review of Fox scopes in one of the shooting magazines a year or so ago, but I can't remember which one.

Depending on what calibre rifle you fit it to, I think it would be worth giving it a try.

If by fox scopes , you mean a scope from brian fox of fox firearms , I have one.

Its an 8 x 56 , and its been sitting on top of my howa 1500 sporter .243 for around 12 years iirc , its not the best scope that ive ever looked through but its far from the worst , I only paid £50.00 for it and its served me very well , its never lost zero , even after it got dropped heavily about five years ago.

Well it's arrived. First glance everything looks good. Cleat glass, positive turret clicks, crosshair isn't too thick on 16x mag. A little thicker than I'd have liked though. One thing I'm not keen on is the size if it. It's long and bulky. The fov us quite good from what the brief look I had. Could see a crow clearly at 200 yards or so. Il get it on when I've finished work, zero it and do a tracking teat on It. Il report back when I've done that :)

Fox's 8-32x56 get consistently good write ups and I know a couple of shooters who have them, very happy for £125 :)

They're the same scopes that are sold for around £150-£250 elsewhere under different names (Falcon, ZOS etc.).

While Fox might well be from the same stable as ZOS ,Falcon are by far a better scope, they look similar but the glass is far superior.

Ive had all 3 of them in various mags, they are all good for the money.
