You have a good eye for an image, keep them coming.

I have owned that Sigma 10 x 20 lens for about 5 yrs used it once in Brum City Centre about 04:00hrs  god knows what I was thinking at the time.

Good lens though I will have to get it out the loft for a run out again just not in Brum...Well at least not at 04:00hrs.

Did they run after that GG?

Quite often they will stare for a bit and do the 'head down, head backup' routine to see if you have moved - and then scarper

Yes after about 10 minutes. Unfortunately their was a road to the left of them approximately 70 yards in distance from my position as I was viewing them.

I had become aware of vehicles stopping and you always get one that gets out and try's to get nearer to them for a snap, the said person was dressed all in black and cumbersome to say the least.

I think the person after the photograph managed a burst of shots but all of the animals rear end as they ran away. This occurs sometimes when I'm in public accessible locations, it can work in your favour sometimes also.

You are quite right with regard to the head up, head down routine. I have found that if I stay perfectly still, they relax and just carry on. But normally their is one that will keep its guard up 8 times out of 10.
