Can anyone help i have a 2006 Browning 525 Sporter with an Inflex 2 recoil pad, i have recently purchased a 12mm spacer online which fits perfectly the only problem is the Pad screws are now too short, i have searched the internet for longer Browning screws to reduce the chance of cross threading but cant find them anywhere they need to be at least 12mm longer than the originals has anyone else had this problem or know where to purchase them from?

Any help appreciated.

Jon

I've tried the local screwfix / Homebase's unfortunately thats as close to a hardware shop near to where I live and they don't have the same threads/head that I need that's why I was hoping to get the original browning ones I don't want to risk damaging the the screw holes and having to redrill them.

I'm not sure that Browning would sell longer screws, as you are adding a non-standard spacer. A picture of the screws (with something for scale) next to a standard screw (non gun related) might give an idea what thread / length / head we are talking about.

Have a look on ebay..

I used plasterboard screws when I fitted a pad to my sons 20 bore, also had a spacer. They worked well and have held the pad and spacer on no trouble also black so you cant see them.

As BlaserF3 said they are only screws wont be anything special.
