PSB2 powder

Recommended Posts

make sure you got the right data though as not all PSB2 are the same

You got old PSB2 & PSB2 Special and the new PSB +2 & PSB+2 Special

the PSB2 SP is the slowest, the PSB2; then PSB+2 SP and finally the PSB+2

There is quite a difference in terms of pressure between the slowest PSB2 SP and the quicker PSB+2 so, be carefull as you can get 100-150 bar more than you expect just by using the same recipes.

For those who'd say there's no difference they're all the same (and there's plenty here)

This load was tested in December:
12/76/16 CX2000 2,10g x 44g B&P Z2M18 closed at 64mm
407 m/s
955 bar
Previously tested returned the following:
12/76/16 CX2000 2,10g x 44g B&P GT18 closed at 64mm
410 m/s
836 bar
Cheers,

I would always confirm with Steven what batch they tested .... some of the loads refer to M92S powder which is no been available in the market for quite few years now.

Also, some of the A1 loads tested seem to refer to old batches of (more progressive) A1 or at least have been available for the past 6-7 years (I bought their sheets in 2010 and, again last year) ... which is quite a long time for an everchangoing powder like A1

Not questioning the performances mind ya...
