washerboy
My favourite air rifle was the Theoben powered HW90 . My question was many different companies have produced gasram rifles over the years is there one that stands out from the rest ?
Stonepark
The one at the moment is the Hatsan 135 available in 177, 22, 25 and 30 cal, all pushing north of 27ftlbs up to 35ftlbs depending on individual gun and pellets.
Wilts#Dave
My Theoben Fenman 'he' is really quite accurate for a recoiling rifle, had it from new and after not using it for getting on 10 years got it out of the cabinet the other day and still shot a nice tight group at 25 yards. I'd always wanted one back then and wasn't disappointed....haven't used any of the others though!
washerboy
I shot several and the trigger is awful for a gun that retailed at £403 twenty years ago
Wilts#Dave
Never found it awful to be honest, not to affect accuracy anyway. I've still got the receipt, £397. They were expensive when I think back.
12gauge82
Had a slr98 brilliant gun, wish I'd never sold it.

12gauge82
Slr 98 😮.... Would have loved one of those, pcp money at the time so I never could afford one Lovely refined rifle and you can safely leave it cocked for hunting without damaging a spring, other than that accuracy on par with hw97 or tx200, so no real advantage. 12gauge82
The Theoben customers service was absolutely shocking, I can honestly say I've never been spoken to in such a rude manner by any company in my life as a particular women I spoke to on the phone there, how she kept her job I'll never know. Esca
Theoben sirroco delux bought in 1984/5 (it was a long time ago). Still have it, never been touched and still puts pellet on pellet. Great rifle
