Don't know if that's Friday shoot one and Saturday shoot one or travel Friday shoot both Saturday. Hope I'm a bit more on form this year. Best of luck to all who are going. bostonmick Posted April 5, 2017 Report Share Posted April 5, 2017 (edited) Another great shoot.however one thing that does Mar this event is the lack of strength in some of the scorers.a couple were running their stands to registered rules.another on one of the rabbit stands was not declaring no targets on a lot of trap failures just kept pushing the button until a clay appeared and thought that was OK.also saw the usual bullying by a couple of AA shooters on the stand 12 of the black course.a clear miss on one of the pair and his mate called it a hit then the shooter agreed.also another of their group who was actually facing the opposite direction when this took place then turned to declare yes he hit the bird.this is a great event in a great sport just spoilt by some of those at the top end of it. But hey ho!! 😯😯😯😯 but went for the experience more than anything as i'm fairly new to reg shoots/comps (dipping my toe in) It was a great shoot and we all had a fantastic time and will attend again! 👍👍👍👍 But we did see a lot of what Bostonmick mentioned above!! Sadly I had to cancel my entry for tomorrow, I had a funeral to attend on Monday, combined with a lot of issues at work this week and the fact that I'm shooting in France all weekend have meant that I simply could not afford the time to shoot it.
