PCP tank regulator

I bought a PCP rifle after years of using Springer’s and capsule air rifles, I also bought new air tank/bottle and took it to my local diving shop to have it filled, this was done I picked it up and took it away, but a few days later I did look at it, at the regulator and noticed the regulator is in the red , am I wrong shouldn't the regulator show a reading of what psi is in the tank, because as I say the needle shows nothing.

No problems Sir - ALWAYS better to ask if not sure when playing with over 4000 psi in your kitchen :)

Sometimes when I mount my air rifle I think about that when I put my face down on the stock immediately behind the pressure chamber....

If that end plug ever let go, it would make a nice hole in my head. Of course it won't, but I did see a youtube video made by someone who had adapted a CO2 gun to become a very bad PCP one. It had only one screw holding the breech plug in and this let go and the plug was driven right through his thigh and embedded itself in a wall. Some people have no common sense.

If you didn't make it yourself and fasten the end plug in place with a self tapper... :)

It ain't gonna let go.

The video I watched was astoundingly stupid. The fools who had altered a Crossman 2240 co2 rifle ACTUALLY try to blame the makers when one of them had his thigh shot right through by the exploding gun.
