guzzicat
Daylight robbery? This is the "Bury Black Pudding Co." Up here in Aberdeenshire we have no decent black pud. ( they put no fat in ) so I looked at them on line, nice product, nice fat contact & £5.00 for 1,62 Kgs, great I thought, phoned to order 2, one plain, 1 Chilli, total 2.72 Kgs,of cured product, cost of delivery, £12.86 ! , I declined. We buy regularly from "The Alternative Meat Company", our last delivery, 2 days ago of 5 Kgs of frozen Mutton (that is hard to find up here too , apart from the odd "farmers market" arrived next day, still frozen, the delivery cost, £7.95! Lord Geordie
Can you not find someone willing to post you a few puddings? Surely cheaper than that postage quote?

guzzicat
Probably, the point is this was the cost charged by the company, a lot of places do it they see "Highlands & Islands " in the postcode & up go the carriage charges, I recently bought a replacement fuel tank for my L200 there was a £30 difference between highest & lowest quotes. I miss Tweddles butchers in Winlaton!
