I have an S310 here with a new uprated resevoir and I'm trying to refill from empty but it seems to be taking a long time and I thought a great big air cylinder would fill up the resevoir in a few seconds? bruno22rf Posted April 15, 2017 Report Share Posted April 15, 2017 (edited) What type of filler probe? seem to recall that the 300 series originally had the push/snap on connector - the later have the push on slotted thing that needs twisting once located - exactly which parts are "uprated" ? If you have the original filler then the female part ( connected to the whip) has an o ring inside - might be worth checking there? If you get really stuck then I'm not a million miles from you and I have a push fit AA connector you are welcome to try - just the other side of Aylesbury to you. They're good chaps, so will either fix it up (to my eyes, it looks like there's a faulty seal) or show you what you're doing wrong. Never had a problem with them before! bruno22rf Posted April 16, 2017 Report Share Posted April 16, 2017 (edited) Lay the gun on a table and connect the filler hose/adaptor (make sure that you twist the connector once the I shaped piece has gone thru the slot on the female connector of course) - put some newspaper under the gun and sprinkle Talcum powder over the front of the gun/connector - when you start to fill you should see exactly where the air is leaking from - if it's the connector then the o rings are most likely the cause but if it leaks between the male and the reservoir then the reservoir o ring/s are faulty and need replacing. You might also need PTFE tape between your female adaptor and your whips 1/8 bsp fitting. BTW - just looked at my fitting and the female has a Dowty type washer between it and the 1/8" BSP female.
