Hello

Went to Park Lodge (The Norths premier etc) on Friday, clays up to 32p and carts up too.(English sporter £49 a slab)

Not many cars in car park and was wondering if people avoid shooting in high wind?, it made it more interesting for me.

N.

Folk just avoid Park lodge

Many are fair weather shooters, to be honest of your not competing where is the fun in going out and not enjoying it due to adverse weather.

Comp shooters will practise in all.

I don't mind a bit of wind but when you can't keep the barrels steady or it's gusting strong the nothing it's bloody frustrating.

i shot skeet Thursday night on high winds, Never shot it that windy before, That was interesting.

Sporting in windy conditions is fun. At the end of the day if you turn up to a comp or a major comp you have to shoot it

Well it's supposed to be fun, not just a fair weather sport!

Nothing as fun as seeing a clay 'take off' on the wind and trying to shoot it. Spend the morning at Griffin Lloyd's in "light welsh breeze" and had heaps of fun. I shoot in gales, hail and snow, and I think that's half the fun of doing sport outdoors!
