'Nest'

Cracking idea :good: Hope you get plenty of interest. :good:

Me too. I've got my 'camera' ready. :)

I made the nest by firstly attaching some twigs to a piece of Correx board, then used a glue gun to stick further twigs to build up the nest. I collected some sheep wool from around the farm, and glued that to the board and twigs. The eggs were glued to the wool and to each other.

that looks fantastic steve (i was very tempted to say cracking), let me know how you get on with it mate.

I will do Mel. I made one years ago, using real eggs, and it worked a treat. This one is portable and can be placed anywhere. I'm going to add a few real egg shells as well.

I've used quail eggs in a Larsen, worked a treat.

Here's an idea for you...what about hoisting it up a tree? "Lofting nest"

I've already thought of raising it off the ground. There's a drystone wall that's toppled over, with a brilliant backstop behind it. I'm planning on putting the nest on the wall.

 These eggs should still work. I would cut one in half and put yellow cotton wool or some other substance inside one half.
