Best post here so far imho :good:

We have or had .223/.17hmr/.22lr/22 fac/.177 12flb pcp

.17HMR bit noisy but fantasic calibre

.22lr dangerous round bouncing everywhere and only use in winter when ground is soft.

.22 fac AA 510 brilliant out to .22lr range and our favoured rabbit tool,no noise and we think more lethal than .22lr as the pellet deforms more on impact, our rifle of choice for rabbit control.

.177 12flb head shot for gardens.

Where did you get that balls from?

It has its uses

But personally i think there are better options .

But every gun fills a niche .thats why i have 3 different fac air cals .they all have their uses .

If you want the most practical power while still being subsonic (ie quiet ) then you need .22lr subs .

I have the Impact .25 FAC and love it. I was playing around last week just testing and set zero at 25mt, at 60mt it was less than half a mildot holdover. Later the same day I took a rabbit at 62mt on the range finder and placed the cross hairs just above the eye level, lights out with a clean kill.

FX Impact, .25 at 40fpe is a superb tool. It will run higher but I have found this power level to work very well for me using Air Arms Field 25.4gr
