Sorry been busy working.

The gear I used :

sonik 3 3/4tc Sk$'s full cork handle, they are beasts but can cast a satsuma sized ball of method over 100 Yards and yet bend nicely into a fish.

Reels Biomaster 8000 xtb, not made anymore but hard to beat great line lay and very precise clutch mechanism.

End tackle: Korda 3.5 ounce method feeder, 2 foot of 45lb quicksilver gold hook link and a size 1 Owner c5 iseama tied knotless knot stylee with 2x 21mm krill and shrimp pellets on a 3" hair.

These are either cast or boat out to the same spot each time and then I spomb 3-4 spombs of trout pellets over the top.

The method mix is blanched halibut pellets probably 75% made into a paste and then added marine stim groundbait, shrimp and krill groundbait, tuna and chill groundbait, 4-5 cans of tuna, prawns, Liquid worm extraxct ,tuna oil, salmon oil, several pints of cooked hemp and the real essential ingredient is the water from the cooked hemp as its full of hemp oil, it is then used to bind the whole lot together.

To cast I mold a thing layer of mix around the feeder, then coil the very long hooklink around my fingers, stick it to the mix them mold more over it so that only the hook and pellets are hanging out.

This can easily be cast over 100 yards and is often taken by the cats on the way down if they are active!!!!

Any carpers reading this will shudder at 2 foot hooklinks BUT it works fantastic as a confidence rig, they can pick it up and move with little pressure until it tightens to the korda feeder. Takes can be violent or just a few bleeps like a bream bit, and worth hitting!
