Guest
Anyone got one? Do they work? (getting tired of the bottle refilling)
Ultrastu
Yes i do .fill my 300cc air tube up to 230 bar no worries . Very reliable pump . I gave my mk 3 to my nephew and thats still going strong too .
Ultrastu
Best thing about them is that they have a small screw onbthe handle that changes wether you have hard to pump but quick .or easy to pump but slower . I change from hard to easier at 200 bar .works well Ps dont worry about moisture getting in your guns . It wont ive been filling my variuos guns like this for 10 + years and never seen any moisture in em ever
Guest
Ultra thanks. I've heard the manual is as much use as an Ikea cabinet build instructions. Anything to watch out for when putting it together?
Ultrastu
Er .not that i can remember .seemed like there was everyting you need in the box
Guest
Do u have an Ultra SE in your collection? The adaptor and seals on it are not the screw-in type so gut feeling it will have issues.
Ultrastu
Yeah i have a scorpion se and ultra se Your probe filler for the gun should have a 1/8 th bsp male thread that fits into the female air line of the pump .
Guest
You didnt have to do anything special with the adaptor?
Ultrastu
Nope .just tighten up with 2 spanners
Guest
So got one today but cant pump beyond 170 bar. I just cant move the handle beyond that. Whats the trick I am missing here?
Ultrastu
Have you removed the air restrictor screw from your probe ? You are supposed to if pumping Take the probe off .and use an alan key to remove the black restrictor inside the probe
Guest
There was no restrictor screw inside the adaptor. Seems odd as an allen key was supplied with the adaptor. There was an extra o-ring supplied that fits inside the adaptor. Is that normal or is it another type of restrictor?
Ultrastu
Dont think ive seen an oring in there before The restrictor as i know it is a long black threaded bar that screws inside the probe
Guest
How deep in the adaptor lies the restrictor? I couldnt see it but if its deep down there then i might have missed it.
Ultrastu
It can be quite a way in there . It wont be obvious unless you shine a torch in there
Guest
I took out that little o-ring and then i could pump to 200 bar, which showed as 220 on the Ultra's gauge. Good enough! Thanks

Mice!
Could I use this hand pump thing on my rapid? Got two buddy bottles, the only thing I've never liked is no gauge on the bottle or rifle, so you have to try and remember roughly the number of shots you've taken. Also how much £ are we talking Thanks
Guest
Ultra can answer re the rapid. The cost for the 4Way is about £165 + postage. I am not totally convinced it is that much better than the 3Way which is now available for about £140. I cant pump mine beyond 200 bar so the extra feature is unnecessary. Ultrastu
Well i pymp up my wildcat which has a 300 cc tube on it . So bigger than an r10 and i belive rapids have a 280 cc bottle so should be ok . Ps i fill mine to 230 bar
Ultrastu
I gave my nephew my old 3 stage .and he struggkes to get it above 170 bar but then again he was only 13 then . Now he is 17 he has no problem hitting 220 bar +
Guest
I need an excuse here - but at 14 stone I still cant go past 200 bar! However 200 actually works fine for me.
Mice!
I have a small and large bottle 150 & 300 shot, can't think what size they are without going looking. Managed 20 years I think without having a diving bottle but like the idea of a pump.
